Terms and Conditions
Kindly review the following terms and conditions prior to booking or attending your appointment. By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the below terms.
1. Appointments and cancellations
- Appointments may be made online, by phone or in person
- Please arrive at least five minutes before your scheduled session to complete any required forms.
- If you arrive late, the session duration may be reduced to accommodate subsequent appointments, and the full fee will remain applicable.
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in the application of a cancellation fee.
2. Payment
- Payment is to be made at the time of the appointment unless otherwise arranged.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, EFTPOS, and major credit cards.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but we will honor the price quoted at the time of booking
3. Health and safety
- You must notify your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or pregnancy prior to the commencement of the session so that we can deliver safe and appropriate treatment.
- Massage services provided are not intended as a substitute for medical treatment. For medical concerns, you must consult your general practitioner.
- East Massage reserves the right to decline treatment if it is considered unsafe or inappropriate for the client.
4. Conduct and right to refuse service
- All clients are expected to demonstrate respect towards staff and fellow patrons. Any form of inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
- East Massage offers strictly professional therapeutic massage services. All treatments are strictly professional. Requests for non-therapeutic or inappropriate services will not be entertained and will lead to refusal of future service.
- East Massage will refuse service if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
5. Privacy
Personal information provided by clients will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
- While we take all reasonable care, you acknowledge that massage therapy carries some risk.
- East Massage is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your failure to disclose relevant health information to us, ignoring therapist advice and pre-existing conditions.
7. Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
- Expiry dates are printed on the voucher and must be honored.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The latest version will be made available on website.
